V.a. bei Kameraaufnahmen, die ich aus der Hand gefilmt habe und bisher nicht verwenden konnte, weil die Bewegungen zu schnell und verwackelt waren, haben sich sehr geschmeidige Szenen daraus machen lassen. Eine Szene war im Wald - mit vielen sich im Wind bewegenden Blättern - und hier gibt
es mit der Optical Flow Methode kaum Geisterbilder. I'm impressed!

- Import your videos into ProDrenalin, use the option “import file” or left click and drag your video from the desktop to the ProDrenalin preview.

- You may also select multiple videos at once and simply drag and drop them from your desktop into the application.

- Choose the first video in the file interface.

 

Processing:

- Select your camera profile to remove the fisheye-effect.

- In order to stabilize several videos at once click the option “stabilize” while holding down the shift-key. The video is preselected for stabilization, but won’t be processed just yet. A red, flashing notice, at the bottom of the screen frame, will request to analyze the video. Ignore this notice for now.

- Select the next video that you want to stabilize from the file interface and repeat the above steps. In this way, you select all of your videos for stabilization. 

 

Export:

- Make sure that all of your videos in the file interface are marked (with a checkmark).

- Move to the export area and select format and quality.

- Video analysis of the first video is initiated with the start button, which is followed by the export. This process continues automatically with all selected videos.

- The videos are now stabilized, available for use and viewing.

Mercalli 3.0 SAL is a stand-alone version. The plug-in version remains unaffected by the update, which means that Mercalli V2 continues to be the most current version of the software. Should you have purchased Mercalli V2 Pro then please use the most current plug-in version. The most recent update of Mercalli 3.0 SAL contains changes/ extensions and alterations, which are not necessary for aplug-in. Therefore the extensions will not be continued on as a plug-in.

Extensive changes and expansions will be continuously made to both product lines (versions 4 and up).

nachdem Sie mir bei meinem hausgemachten Problem geholfen haben, habe ich inzwischen etwa 30 Minuten Film aus ca. 2 bis 3 Stunden Rohmaterial geschnitten. Die Aufnahmen stammen von einer Safari in Tansania. Trotz gutem optischen Stabilisators sind Aufnahmen mit 20 fach Zoom aus einem Safarifahrzeug heraus nicht sonderlich ruhig. Dank Mercalli sind daraus hervorragend ruhige Szenen geworden wobei sich der Qualitätsverlust in wirklich engen Grenzen hält. Das Programm hat mich restlos überzeugt Als ehemaliger Student der Nachrichtentechnik, noch im Analogzeitalter, bin ich fasziniert davon, was heut mit mathematischen Verfahren dank der Digitaltechnik möglich ist. 

Ich habe mir die Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig durchgelesen und dabei festgestellt, dass sie von Ihnen verfasst wurde. Auch hier mein Kompliment, wie sie nicht nur Funktionen beschreiben sondern auch deren Wirkungsweise, Einsatzgebiete und Grenzen klar darstellen. Ich kann mich nicht daran erinnern, jemals eine so informative und nützlich Bedienungsanleitung in den Händen gehalten zu haben. Normalerweise werden die von Technikern für Techniker geschrieben! Herzlichen Dank dafür und weiterhin erfolgreiche Arbeit.

You have created a project in the earlier Heroglyph version V2.5 and would like to continue editing the project (using the enhanced Design options) in Heroglyph V4.
In order to do so, just open the "File/Open Project" option in Heroglyph V4. Navigate to the location where you have saved your project and import it. Now you can use the new Design options in your project and save the changes afterwards.

Generell wird dort mit AVID und den "Saphire Plugins" gearbeitet, aber ich finde, dass Vitascene im Vergleich zu den sehr teuren Programmen in der normalen Effekt-Range schon sehr gut mithalten kann. Start MAGIX MX and place a video in the timeline and select it. Then open the Plug-ins-manager in the Effects (1) / Additional effects (2) register.

 

The Plug-ins manager starts, in the Available plug-ins (3) area on the left you will find proDAD (4), double-click to see all the proDAD Effect-Plugins available, e.g. Mercalli 2.0, Vitascene and Adorage. 

Now select proDAD Vitascene (5) by clicking. Then click the Insert plug-in option (6) to start Vitascene. Now select an effect and apply it via F12. In thePlug-ins for the current object area (7) you will see proDAD Vitascene (8). Click OK to apply the effects. The effects will be shown in the preview.

Effect templates from Vitascene can be used directly in Vegas Pro/Movie Studio.

In case that you use keyframes, make sure that you set start and end keyframes in the Sony-Videoevent-FX dialog. Otherwise the Vitascene-Effect (with keyframes) will not be applied in Vegas Pro/Movie Studio.

Adorage effects can only be applied if you set start and end keyframes in the Sony-Videoevent-FX dialog.

 

To animate video filters in Vegas Pro and Movie Studio it is essential to set keyframes to mark the starting point and the ending point of the animation. 

First start Vegas Pro or Movie Studio and place a Video (1) into the Timeline. Then go to  Video-FX (2) register to apply (e.g.) Vitascene (3) to your video as a video effect. The Videoevent-FX (4) dialogopens. Click Animation (5).

The Plugin included in the delivery is only valid for the editing-software to which it is related. Plugins for other editing-software programs are not included and there is no legal right to claim any.

The customer can order an upgrade of a bundled version to a full version at any moment. This would provide him/her with the complete support-service, free updates and all the functions for all the products.

In general terms, it is a Plugin, which is licensed for the current generation of the editing software. This means that the following versions of the editing software probably won’t support the bundled version.

The technical Email-support will also be limited to the bundled product in connection with the editing software.

Furthermore, there is no legal right to claim any feature-update. The user can only claim technical updates that might be necessary due to technical problems, and only for the generation of editing software included in the delivered package.

Dear User of Adorage 12,

please take into consideration the following installation tips:

 

There is a Basic Version Adorage 12, which should be installed first. After doing so, check which editing software (NLE) you are using.

 

1. If you are using a 32bit editing software, install the 32bit-Plugin Service Package (included in the delivery).

2.  If you are using a 64bit editing software (eg. Premiere CS5, Sony Vegas 64bit 9/10 Pro), install the 64bit Plugin Service Package (included in the delivery).

 

The current Adorage 12 or the Service Packages install new Plugins, i.e. the existing Adorage-Plugin will be refreshed.

 

Notes for the use of Adorage 12 in Pinnacle Studio:

Please install the basic version of Adorage 12 first, then the new volume 12 will be included into the  list of the opened Adorage (directly in Studio). Immediately after doing so, you can use all the Adorage effects and transitions. In case that previously installed earlier Adorage volumes (1-11) are already unlocked, the new Volume 12 will be activated. There is no need of any further unlocking on the part of Pinnacle/Avid. 

 

Further recommendations:

1. New installation of Adorage Volumes:

If you install your Adorage Volumes 1-12 newly we recommend to first uninstall Adorage completely. Then (re-)install your Volumes in order. Install the respective Service Package always at the end – either the 32bit- or the 64bit Service Package (or the two of them), depending on the editing software you are using.

 

2. The use of the 64bit Service Package:

The 64bit Service Package will be installed only if you are using a 64bit editing software (currently in Premiere CS5 and Vegas 9/10 Pro).

 

3.  Additional installation of older Adorage Volumes:

If you install older Adorage Volumes in addition to previously installed Volumes you should always install the current Service Package at the end - either the 32bit- or the 64bit Service Package (or the two of them), depending on the editing software you are using.

In order to be able to locate (and resolve ?) problems possibly occurring in Mac computers, we need a Crash Report.

When an error occurs, please start the CONSOLE (to be found in Applications/Utilities) to create a Crash Report. You will find the corresponding Crash Report under DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION/User Diagnostic Reports (you can see an example in the screenshot). Then select the Crash Report (e.g. Final Cut Pro_2010…), and click File/Save a Copy As in the menu to save the report. Please send us this report.

After installing the Mercalli V2 Pro Demo-version as Studio Plugin, the software will be shown within Studio 14 (including the Pinnacle watermark). Now you can test Mercalli V2 Pro.

Reason:When the option "Full preview quality" (in the "Video and Audio Preferences" settings dialog) is disabled in Pinnacle Studio, the video analysis in Mercalli is carried out at a lower resolution and this affects the quality of the stabilization.Even when the project has been completed in Pinnacle Studio, the quality of the scenes stabilized with Mercalli remains low. 

Solution:Select the option "Full preview quality" (in the "Video and Audio Preferences" settings dialog) before analysing your video scene in the Mercalli timeline.

If you have already analysed the video scene with Mercalli, with the option "Full preview quality" disabled in Pinnacle Studio, follow these steps: Remove Mercalli from the timeline in your video, select the option "Full preview quality" in the "Video and Audio Preferences" settings dialog, and drag Mercalli onto the video scene again.Now analyse the video once more with Mercalli.

If the last digit of your serial number of Adorage Volume 10 or 11 or Mercalli V2 is the number zero (0), this may be confused with the letter O (Oh).Please replace the character and the serial number will be accepted.

For these editing solutions please always use the  32bit Version of the Mercalli V2 Plugins because these NLEs are 32bit Versions, tough they´re in use on Windows 7 64 Bit systems.

Problem: The Mediaplayer playback of a Mercalli-created videofile is always 4:3 although the original footage was 16:9.

Solution: Mercalli also offer to generate WMV files for export, those generated files also Media Player playback correctly as 16:9 .

Note: It´s obligatory that the video has been identified as 16:9 format video during import in Mercalli.
